2013 Firebird Ignitor!!

We are headed to Boise, Idaho to Firebird Raceway for our second time at the Ignitor! This is the first divisional event for us and we are so excited to be going back to Boise, one of my favorite tracks! We hope to see you out there this weekend!

Beginning My Top Alcohol Journey!

April 8th, 2013 began my journey of achieving my Top Alcohol license. I was privileged enough to license in Jerry Darien’s A-Fuel dragster and had a blast. I made 3 licensing passes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a quickest pass of 5.54 @ 246mph! Due to high winds and eventual rain, we weren’t able to complete my license in Las Vegas. We will keep you posted on when I will finish my license on my official Facebook page! I am so thankful for this opportunity to advance my license and hopefully, my racing career! A big thanks to my family and friends for all their endless support and an even BIGGER thanks to Jerry and Debbie Darien and the whole crew that really made this all happen for me!

2012 in Closing

The 2012 racing season is officially over. For my first year doing the divisional circuit, I came out #6 in the entire division in the Top Dragster class! It has been an unbelievable year of learning, improving, and getting to know what works for me and what doesn’t when it comes to my own driving. My goal was to get into the top 10 for my first year and I am so happy to say that not only did I meet my goal but I exceeded it as well. This year couldn’t be possible without the help of my family, especially my mom and dad, who offer endless support in more ways than one. My brother bear, although not able to be at most of the races, gave advice and support from miles away just when I needed it. I would also like to thank the extended family that I acquired over this racing season, you all are such a pleasure to race against and I really appreciate you welcoming me to the Top Dragster class with open arms. Special thanks go out to Dallas Glenn and the whole Glenn family for their support as well. Above all, I would like to thank my sponsors: Tualatin Transmission, Gresham Ford, 330images.net, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Children’s Cancer Association, Tualatin Napa and especially Moonstruck Chocolate Company for making this little girl’s dreams come true this season.

Halloween Classic

Sadie Floyd is headed to Boise, Idaho for the NAPA Auto Parts HALLOWEEN CLASSIC XIX! The race is scheduled for October 10th-14th. Sadie and her family will be competing in Pro, Super Pro, and Top Gun! Come on out and stop by for some dark chocolates from Moonstruck Chocolate Company!

Two Races Left

We are reaching the end of our season and it sure has flown by! We were in Seattle, Washington over this past weekend at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event and the team made some great strides! Going rounds every day of the event kept us learning and definitely adapting in every single race.

This weekend is the 2nd Annual NIGHT OF FIRE race at Woodburn Dragstrip! Races on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday and Saturday night will feature some extra bonus races and match races until 10 pm under the lights! Let the racing marathon begin!
